Going out shopping for Christmas gifts is a brilliant way to get in the festive spirit and support local businesses. However, the cost of living crisis and impending recession is affecting everyone, and rightly altering how we spend our money.
It’s been estimated that 4000 social enterprises will close this year due to financial challenges, which is devastating because when you buy social, profits from your purchase go to the people and causes supported by that shop.

If you do want to buy something special for those you love, you couldn’t choose better than a local social enterprise or community shop. By visiting a shop, you can meet your neighbours, bring life back to the high street and soak up some of that Christmas spirit.
